Description
Provides child amputees with financial assistance for artificial limbs and peer support.

Service offers:

  • funding for standard and specialized artificial limbs and devices, as well as ongoing adjustments and repairs
  • financial assistance towards the cost of travel to and from prosthetic centres
  • connecting child amputees and their families with others who understand the experience of living with amputation
  • older members of the CHAMP Program (Junior Counsellors) who provide peer support and guidance to younger amputees and their families
  • funding for assistive devices for children with multiple amputations to help with independence
