Description
Provides play-based program utilizing the strengths and interests of children to address the goals set out in their Individual Program Plans (IPP's).
Service offers:
- programming for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders or children with significant severe delays
- an individualized program with a low student to teacher ratio
- direct targeting of Social Communication, Emotional Regulation and Transitional Supports (SCERTS)
- academic, cognitive, self-help as well as fine and gross motor skills development within a thematic, literature-based curriculum
Eligibility
Yes, Service targeted to children who have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder or have significant severe delays involving language, social interaction and / or communication.
