Description
Provides programming and accommodations for mothers with children who have experienced family violence and require support to begin or resume independent living.

Service offers:

  • temporary accommodation for up to 1 year with transitional housing available for 1 year afterwards
  • client referral, support, and advocacy services
  • individual, family, and group counselling
  • social and educational programming that consider the interests and areas of need for residents
  • supports for finding long term housing and connecting to community services
  • Child Development Centre delivers a curriculum that addresses the various developmental stages of a child, at no cost to parents

  • referral accepted from agencies, emergency shelters, Victims Services, or self-referral through the Shared Intake Program

Rent subsidy provided through Calgary Housing Corporation. Prospective clients will need to qualify for Calgary Housing or be able to pay full market rent. The Client Services team can support clients with applications for other eligible fee reduction offerings upon program admission.
