- The Pediatric Neuromuscular Disease Clinic helps kids with muscle and nerve problems, called neuromuscular diseases, and supports their families.
The clinic offers:
- advice, emotional support, and connecting families with other resources
- therapy to help kids strengthen muscles and may suggest braces for better movement and comfort
- help for families to get special equipment for daily activities
- teaching for the child, family, and school about the disease, how it affects the child, and how everyone can help the child succeed
