Description
Consultation with Gastroenterology Physician with a specialization in conditions relating to the liver.

Assessment, diagnosis and treatments related to liver conditions. Treatments may also be provided in dept based on need.

Common conditions assessed may include:

  • management of Fatty Liver disease
  • treatment for Liver Failure
  • management of Ascites
  • treatment for Hepatitis
  • management of Cirrhosis
  • management of Hemochromatosis
  • management of Autoimmune Hepatitis

Procedures that may be performed include:

  • Peritoneal Tap
  • Liver Biopsy

Key Provider: licensed practical nurses (LPNs), registered nurses (RNs), physicians
