Description
The Adult Inpatient Brain Injury Rehabilitation Program (BIRP) supports adults 18-70 years of age, and their families adjust to the changes caused by a brain injury. The goal of the program is to help patients develop the highest level of independence possible. Patients will work on communication skills, physical abilities, and social and emotional well-being.

The Adult Inpatient Brain Injury Rehabilitation Program (BIRP) provides an interdisciplinary rehabilitation service to adults with a primary diagnosis of brain injury due to trauma or disease. The program is committed to assisting brain injury patients in acquiring a basic functional level of ability and adapting and developing compensatory skills, thereby promoting integration into the community.
