- The Adult Inpatient Brain Injury Rehabilitation Program (BIRP) supports adults 18-70 years of age, and their families adjust to the changes caused by a brain injury. The goal of the program is to help patients develop the highest level of independence possible. Patients will work on communication skills, physical abilities, and social and emotional well-being.
The Adult Inpatient Brain Injury Rehabilitation Program (BIRP) helps adults with brain injuries caused by accidents or illness. The program aims to help patients regain basic skills and learn new ways to manage challenges, so they can be part of the community again.
