Description
Inpatient mental health units who provide treatment to senior experiencing mental health concerns.

Assessment and treatment of senior adults with mental health concerns, including:

  • mood disorders (depression, bipolar, anxiety)
  • psychotic disorders (Schizophrenia, delusional disorders)
  • dementia

This service is provided by Alberta Health Services and Alberta Health Services contracted service providers.


Key Provider: dietitians, doctors, indigenous liaison, nurses (RN, RPN, LPN), occupational therapists (OTs), pharmacists, physiotherapists (PTs), psychiatric aides, recreational therapist, social workers, speech language pathologist, volunteers
